History

Enterprise Computing Services, LLC (ECS) was founded in 1994 as a professional services company providing computer solutions and services for small to medium businesses, as well as large corporations, government, medical and educational facilities. ECS's original business plan was to develop a service organization with highly trained and certified systems engineers, technicians and consultants that would provide consulting, design, sales, implementation and support of information technology solutions for our clients. Through strong alliances with market leading companies such as HP, Cisco, Microsoft and Citrix, ECS provides multiple avenues for companies to purchase the technology needed to improve productivity and enhance their competitive edge.

In 1997, the computer division of Heard, McElroy and Vestal, LLP merged with ECS. Heard, McElroy and Vestal, LLP is one of the largest CPA firms in North Louisiana with offices in Shreveport, Bossier City as well as West Monroe. The resources brought together by these two companies include financial strength as well as strong technical and business expertise.

Another successful merger occurred in 2001 with Synapse Multimedia, LLP. Synapse Multimedia is a custom software and website development company based in Shreveport, Louisiana. The company also offers website & email hosting, animation, video conferencing, and streaming media services.
Through this merger ECS is able to offer our clients a more complete set of services ranging from simple hardware sales and repair to complex application development. Recently, in 2010, ECS merged with ArkLaComp. The merger added Managed Services to the company's services and also added approximately 2000 clients.

Today, ECS's team is made up of over 35 highly trained individuals serving all of North Louisiana and East Texas. In the thirteen years of business, ECS has provided computer solutions and service to over 4000 clients. Since ECS does not have a dedicated sales force, the company's continued growth is primarily through referrals from our satisfied clients. The ECS goal is the same as it was in 1994: to develop long term partnerships with our clients by providing them with sound professional advice and the highest level of service possible.
